Personality of the Gun
Choose the correct firearm from the 1890s that fits the personality and needs of your main character. Caricature the weapon, accentuating the visual elements and create contrast in its proportions. Be aware of the positive and negative shapes you design.

Character Size Comp in Silhouette
Start to design the cast of characters for your level, based on the character you chose 2 weeks ago. Develop the characters in your level by choosing shapes that communicate gender, age, status, occupation and personality. Design at least 5 torsos in silhouette ensuring there is significant size and proportion variation to be interesting. After you have decided on the general "shape language" of your hero and 4 or more allies, add the head, legs & arms. Always be aware of variation in shape and realistically illustrate proportions suitable for your male or female character.Think about maximum contrast, big, medium and small shapes, straights vs curves, circle square and triangle.
Keep in mind you will be adding the villain and his minions. That should show the highest level of contrast.
Your size comp should start on 11"x17" Landscape 300dpi. Do NOT use color. This is a rough in silhouette in shadow (black). There should be no interior details, we will develop those details later.
